The lantern, dedicated to the City of Fresno in 1939 and originally located in Roeding Park, now finds it's new home at the Japanese Garden. Photo top right, includes Mr. Roy Oto, former President of the Fresno County Japanese Young Men's Association League presented the lantern to then Mayor Frank A. Homan. Today Mr. Oto takes part along with Mayor Alan Autry and descendants of other Donors join in bringing the lantern to the Shinzen Friendship Garden.
