PHOTOGRAPHY IN THE GARDEN

Professional photography is permitted in the Japanese Garden but an advance permit is required.  Please review the photo shoot policy for the garden.  The current charge is $25 for one professional photoshoot / per day / per one hour session.

WEDDINGS IN THE GARDEN

Weddings in the Shinzen Garden may only be held in the grass area at the back of the Garden near the rear gate. The area is shaded by large pines and can contain a maximum of 200 people. The area is backed by attractive wooden fence with a gate suitable for the bride's entry. The fence separates the Garden from a service road and small parking area (several cars only). It would be possible to use this area for recreational vehicle or access for delivery vehicle. Two electrical outlets with a combined capacity of 20 amps are near the fence line.

Fees :  $250 ( first 100 people )

           $500 ( for 101 to 200 people))

The Garden is available for weddings ONLY when it is closed to the public.  Therefore on weekends, weddings must be scheduled to finish before 10 am.

DOCENT TOURS
