DESCRIPTION:An Intimate Japanese Tea Ceremony Experience\nLimited to 8 Guests \nExperience the Japanese tea ceremony in a uniquely personal and immersive setting at Shinzen Friendship Garden. \nUnlike our traditional tea ceremony demonstrations\, where guests observe the ceremony\, this exclusive experience invites you to participate fully in the ritual and traditions of Japanese tea. With only eight guests\, participants will have the opportunity to engage more deeply with the ceremony while learning about the meaning\, etiquette\, and symbolism behind each step. \nGuided through the experience\, guests will discover the thoughtful movements\, seasonal elements\, preparation and presentation of matcha\, and traditions of hospitality that make the Japanese tea ceremony a centuries-old art form. \nThis intimate experience is ideal for those who want to go beyond observing and gain a deeper appreciation for the beauty\, mindfulness\, and cultural significance of Japanese tea. \nImportant Participation Information\nThis is a traditional\, participatory tea ceremony experience. Guests will be seated on the floor for portions of the ceremony and should be comfortable sitting cross-legged for an extended period of time.
