Refine your pruning skills and deepen your appreciation for the art of Matsu-zukuri, the specialized Japanese technique for shaping and maintaining pine trees. Led by Certified Aesthetic Pruner Steve DaSilva, this workshop will explore the careful balance of structure, health, and aesthetics that define elegant, long-lived pines in Japanese gardens.

Participants will learn essential techniques such as candle pruning (mekiri), needle thinning, and branch refinement, all designed to enhance the tree’s natural beauty while promoting strength and longevity. Through live demonstrations and hands-on practice, attendees will gain the knowledge to cultivate pines with grace and harmony.

This is a rare opportunity to study traditional Japanese pine care from an expert. Space is limited—reserve your spot today!
