Our volunteers are a critical component of our Garden! You can become a Shinzen Friendship Garden Volunteer and learn about Japanese gardens and culture. It’s not considered work when you are among friendly faces, supporting joyous events and enjoying the beauty of Shinzen.

A membership to Shinzen Friendship Garden supports the 5-acre garden with its unique landscape and architectural features, the exquisite Clark Bonsai Collection, and programs and festivals promoting Japanese art and culture in the Central Valley.
