Sweater Weather Watercolor Class
Cozy up with creativity at “Sweater Weather”, a watercolor class at Shinzen Garden on Saturday, November 8, 2025. This workshop embraces the crisp air and warm tones of autumn, guiding you in painting seasonal scenes inspired by the garden’s natural beauty. Whether you’re a first-time painter or a seasoned artist, you’ll enjoy a relaxing afternoon filled with color, creativity, and fall charm. All supplies are provided—just bring your imagination and a cozy spirit!
Pre-registration is required
Explore the art of haiku and nature-inspired poetry while learning traditional Japanese forms. Through guided exercises and observation of the seasonal beauty of Shinzen Garden, attendees will craft their own haiku and short-form poetry.

OPEN: Wed – Sun: 10am – 5pm
CLOSED: Monday and Tuesday

4-14yrs: $1/ea.
15yrs-Adult: $5/ea.
Seniors 62+: $1/ea.

Family: $7 (2-5 people)
*Woodward Park Parking: $5; $3 for Seniors; $7 during National Holidays. Credit Cards are accepted.
Clark Bonsai Museum Hours
Open Wed-Sun, 10am-4pm*
*When temperatures exceed 95 degrees, the bonsai collection hours are 10am -1pm. Unfortunately, the bonsai museum will be closed when it’s raining, the air quality is considered unhealthy for all groups or when docents are unavailable.
